Paul Malinowski, LTPC member, presents “Wildlife Storytelling Through a Bird Photographer’s Lens: Tips for Beyond Basic Sharp Focus” on Wednesday, February 21st, 2024 at 7pm, Lone Tree Civic Center. Register to attend remotely via Zoom.
Arrive 30 minutes early for social time, to visit with your fellow club members and meet some new folks. The program is 7pm – 9pm.
If you want to take the next step from that boring photograph of a zoo animal with only sharp eye focus as its key element, then this is the presentation for you! Paul Malinowski will provide an evening of tips on how to tell a story about the birds and animals found literally and figuratively in your backyard. There is no need to go to Alaska for bears or Costa Rica for birds – our metro area parks are loaded with wildlife begging to tell you their stories.
You will learn the four essential keys to winning bird and wildlife photography, the key camera settings for every situation, suggestions for good locations, tips on how to capture that elusive, unique wood duck photo, and the ethics of photographing birds and wildlife that you encounter (and much more). This presentation promises to be a night jam-packed with under-the-radar tips and tricks to punch up the drama and evoke emotion into your wildlife photography.
About Paul Malinowski:
Paul has been a photographer since college, nearly a century ago! Since 2020, however, he has “focused” almost exclusively on bird photography. His wildlife photographs have been exhibited in juried shows in Lake Charles, Louisiana, Conroe, Texas, Louisville Colorado, and most recently two of his images were selected for the 2024 Top 250 Showcase of the North American Nature Photographers Association (NANPA).
