About Simone Severo
“I am a people person, hence I became a portrait photographer. I have been doing portraits for over 20 years and I have taught classes on composition, studio lighting and flashes for over 10 years. Last June I published my first book, A Portrait a Day: One Photographer’s Journey, result of nearly 1500 hours of a personal project to connect with our community, make new friends and become a better photographer. Now I am working on publishing my second book with the behind the scenes of how those portraits were created and embarking on the new project of photographing 50 sets of twins in a year. Portraits is what I know the most: how to connect, how to light, how to capture. If you would like to take a peek into my brain and learn a thing or two about portrait photography, this is a class for you.”
