Jessica Vallia presents “Intro to Modern Family Portraiture” on Wednesday, June 19th, 2024 at 7pm, Lone Tree Civic Center. Register to attend remotely via Zoom.
Arrive 30 minutes early for social time, to visit with your fellow club members and meet some new folks. The program is 7pm – 9pm.
Attendees can hope to see how Jessica prepares her clients for their session ensuring a beautiful piece of art for their home every session. She will show some examples of editing and standing out from the crowd as well as some basics in posing multiple people. Jessica will break down the dynamics of how to work with clients in a way that produces natural, emotional portraits that hang on the wall for generations to come. She will also touch on basics of good sales practices that any photographer can use when selling their art, regardless of the genre.
About Jessica Vallia
Jessica is a Colorado born & raised photographer specializing in scenic, emotionally driven family portraits. Jessica’s love for family moments comes from her love of her perfectly blended family of four children. She has been photographing families full time for 12 years and practicing her skills in photography for just over 22 years.
Jessica Vallia is a Certified Professional Photographer as well as holds a Master of Photography and Craftsman degrees from PPA and is pursuing her Artist degree. In 2022 she earned both a platinum and silver (artist) medals in IPC, and in 2021 Jessica earned an esteemed Diamond Photographer of the Year distinction from the International Photographic Competition. She was also named Colorado’s General Photographer of the year in 2020. She’s proudly a member of Professional Photographers of America, the Vice President of the Professional Photographers of Colorado for the second year, and proudly serves on the board of Professional Photographers Guild of Colorado Springs. She has a large commercial studio in Colorado Springs, CO and enjoys being able to create gorgeous, heirloom Folio and albums along with impactful pieces of wall art for her clients.
