Eric Hagemann presents “Advanced Lightroom Masking” on Wednesday, March 19th, 2025 at 7pm, Lone Tree Civic Center. Join remotely via Zoom.
Arrive 30 minutes early for social time, to visit with your fellow club members and meet some new folks. The program is 7pm – 9pm.
The addition of masking in Lightroom has been a game-changer. Masking allows you to make local edits to your images directly in Lightroom, often eliminating the need for Photoshop and enabling you to streamline your workflow.
This session will cover the basics of masks and delve into the power of the Lightroom masking interface. Eric will explore how to use the tools to build both simple and complex masks, allowing you to perform precise edits.
The presentation will start with an overview and move to an interactive editing session demonstrating the power of masks to dramatically enhance an image.
About Eric Hagemann
After a 36-year career in public sector engineering and organizational strategy, Eric is focused full-time on uncovering dynamic and thought-provoking images. Currently, his interests are exploring and capturing the diverse landscapes of the Western US – from the rugged mountains and plains of Colorado to the arid deserts of Utah, New Mexico, and Arizona in both black and white as well as infrared.
Eric has been exhibiting and selling his work since 2010, has been in Galleries since 2015, and has participated in many local and nationwide shows.
Eric has been awarded the Leica Master shot designation twice and has achieved Honorable Mention in PX3 and Nominee status in the Spider Awards.
