Join us on April 26th, 2025 for a full day of photographing various types of birds in a controlled setting at Nature’s Educators, Florence, CO.
Registration required: minimum 4 people, maximum 15 people
Cost: $400 per person. Once registered you will receive an invoice to pay from LTPC Zoho Books
12 birds (6 flying) at the Nature’s Educators Wildlife Program facility in Florence (near the State Veterans Home). Beautiful backdrops and settings with only minor walking, but good mobility is recommended for the terrain. Drinkable water and porta potty on site.
- Sunrise to ~11am (when the light gets bad): 4 birds – sunrise silhouettes, portraits, 2 birds flying
- Lunch 11-1:30 – plenty of local places
- 1:30-2pm: Wildlife and Photography Ethics presentation
- 2pm to Sunset: 8 birds – various portraits, sunset silhouettes, 4 birds flying
